Tutors International is recruiting for a Digital Marketing and PR Manager with outstanding writing talent and communication skills. The ideal candidate would reinforce Tutors International’s superlative standards, academic excellence and commitment to discretion.

This is a remote part-time role, with semi-flexible hours and exciting opportunities to engage with upcoming ventures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Writing and distributing an average of three press releases per month.
  • Writing articles throughout the year that contribute to the trending conversations in Education.
  • Editing and/or ghost-writing blogs.
  • Liaising with the students on our Mentorship Programme.
  • Pitching features to media outlets.
  • Writing website and press copies.
  • Work with our Web Developer to optimise Google Ads.
  • Review and enhance our online content to optimise SEO.
  • Anticipate PR opportunities and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Oversee and implement PR activity.
  • Manage external communication and related administrative tasks for public partnerships, events and business acquisitions.
  • Regularly post our own published articles and releases, alongside relevant news items and content of interest across all social media platforms.
  • Record how each post performs and generate a quarterly report, including performance across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Cision distribution.
  • Generate engagement and growth across all platforms.

Requirements:

  • At least a 2:1 from a top-ranking university
  • Exemplary writing and editing skills – precision is key in this role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a flexible and professional approach to their work
  • A committed and rigorous work ethic
  • Experience in digital marketing

Preferred:

  • An understanding of the education and/or private tutoring industry
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Have an interest in current affairs and the education sector
  • Working knowledge of graphic design

The Job:

  • 16 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • Permanent contract
  • Semi-flexible hours
  • £20,000 pa
